Entry-Level Investigator

Ethos Risk Services•Seattle, WA

About The Position

Ethos Risk Services is hiring a full-time Entry-Level Field Investigator to conduct insurance claims investigations, surveillance, and fraud detection. No prior investigative experience is necessary. The role includes a fully paid Investigator Training Program, beginning with virtual classroom training and transitioning to on-the-job training, plus ongoing development and support. Investigators conduct preliminary case research, perform covert vehicle-based surveillance, capture video evidence, and write detailed, court-ready reports. Assignments are generally intended to be within a reasonable drive of the investigator’s residence, though occasional longer-distance travel and overnight stays may be required; overnight stays are covered by the company. Surveillance cases often begin at 6:00 a.m. Workday length varies with activity and typically ranges from 3 to 12 hours. Weekend and holiday work is common. This independent role may involve long periods alone in a vehicle in any weather, while remaining alert and free of external distractions and prepared to use videography equipment.
