Entry Level CDL-A Regional Driver
About The Position
This regional driving role hires drivers in Imperial Valley, including new CDL holders, and provides paid on-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer. Training pay is $850 per week, followed by a guaranteed $1,000 per week for three months after the first solo dispatch. Drivers haul freight across states west of the Mississippi. Most runs are three days or less, and drivers are home every two weeks. The role averages approximately 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week, with day or night schedules. Average weekly gross earnings are $1,000 to $1,500, with mileage pay that increases with experience, a performance bonus of up to six cents per mile, and $15 stop pay. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old and hold a Class A CDL.
- New drivers must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
- Experienced drivers must have six months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or at least 12 months in the last five years.
- Have no more than two moving violations in the last two years and no major preventable accidents in the last five years.
- Pass hair and urine drug testing.
