About The Position

This dedicated driving position serves customers across the Northeast and provides home time every week for a full reset. Drivers average about 1,700 miles per week, mostly using drop-and-hook freight, and receive a dedicated planner. Pay is $0.80 per mile, loaded or empty, with an additional $0.01 per mile for each year of service up to $0.85 per mile. Drivers also receive $15 per stop and $80 when an unload is required. The stated average weekly gross is $1,500. New drivers receive paid on-the-road training with an experienced driver trainer at $650 per week. After training, drivers are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months solo. Orientation pay is $300, and travel to orientation is covered. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Requirements

Hold a Class A CDL.
Be at least 21 years old.
New drivers must have at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months or 12 or more months in the last 5 years.
Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
Pass hair and urine drug testing.
