About The Position

This dedicated retail driving role is designed for new CDL holders. Drivers complete paid, on-the-road training with an experienced mentor at $850 per week, then move into the dedicated fleet after being signed off. Runs are round trips across New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut, with drivers home every week from their first job. The schedule includes about 2,100 miles per week and day or night shifts. Average weekly gross pay is $1,700 to $2,000, with mileage pay of $0.85 to $0.90 per mile and an additional $75 for each delivery into the NYC boroughs. Drivers should be prepared for city driving in NYC and North Jersey, as well as weekend and holiday work. No time off is available during peak season from October through December.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• At least 120 hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Live in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut; Bronx residents are not eligible at this time.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.
• Be prepared for city driving in NYC and North Jersey.

Responsibilities
