About The Position

Rose Roofing & Restoration is hiring Entry Level Canvassers to help homeowners affected by severe weather connect with our roofing professionals. This role is ideal for individuals looking to break into sales without prior experience. You will work outdoors, have the flexibility to set your own schedule, and earn based on performance, with the opportunity to learn fundamentals for a successful sales career. As an Entry Level Canvasser, you will be the face of Rose in neighborhoods, initiating conversations with homeowners about potential roof damage, identifying those interested in a complimentary roof inspection, and introducing them to the Sales Manager. The Sales Manager handles the technical aspects like inspections, estimates, and contracts, allowing you to focus on connecting with people. This role does not involve climbing roofs or carrying ladders; the primary physical requirement is being comfortable on your feet for several hours a day. Successful canvassers consistently generate quality homeowner opportunities, averaging roughly two qualified leads per workday. Top performers are invested in and promoted, with opportunities to advance to Independent Sales Representative roles with significantly higher earning potential.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, professional, and reliable.
• Comfortable striking up conversations with homeowners while canvassing.
• Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Enjoys working outdoors and staying active.
• Comfortable being on your feet for several hours a day.
• Determination, grit, and a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• No roofing or sales experience required — we'll provide an orientation to get you up to speed on our inspection process and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Canvassing neighborhoods impacted by recent severe weather.
• Starting friendly conversations with homeowners about potential roof damage.
• Spotting homeowners who are interested in a complimentary roof inspection.
• Introducing interested homeowners to our Sales Manager.
• Assisting with the information needed to begin the insurance claim process.
