About The Position

Rose Roofing & Restoration is hiring Entry Level Canvassers to help homeowners affected by severe weather connect with our roofing professionals. This role involves working outdoors, setting your own schedule, and earning based on performance, with the opportunity to learn fundamentals for a successful sales career. The company is a family-owned and operated business experiencing rapid growth. As an Entry Level Canvasser, you will be the face of Rose in the community, walking designated neighborhoods, starting conversations with homeowners about potential roof damage, identifying interested homeowners for complimentary roof inspections, and introducing them to the Sales Manager. The Sales Manager handles the technical aspects of the job, allowing the canvasser to focus on connecting with people. There is no roof climbing or ladder carrying involved; the main physical requirement is being comfortable on your feet for several hours a day. This is a flexible, self-directed role where you help set your own schedule and build your own book of business, with the full strength of the Rose team behind you. No roofing experience is required; a full orientation is provided to get you comfortable with the inspection process and customer experience.

Requirements

• Comfortable being on your feet for several hours a day.

Nice To Haves

• No roofing or sales experience required — we'll provide an orientation to get you up to speed on our inspection process and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Canvassing neighborhoods impacted by recent severe weather.
• Starting friendly conversations with homeowners about potential roof damage.
• Spotting homeowners who are interested in a complimentary roof inspection.
• Introducing those homeowners to our Sales Manager.
• Assisting with the information needed to begin the insurance claim process.

Benefits

• $15.00 per hour for the field work you perform.
• Based on your performance, you can earn an extra $100–$200 per day on top of your hourly pay.
