About The Position

Coughlin Toyota of Heath is hiring full-time entry-level automotive technicians. The position offers a competitive wage dependent on experience. Technicians perform lubrication services, inspect customer vehicles, identify needed maintenance, coordinate with the parts department, document repairs and materials, maintain an orderly work area, and follow safety and regulatory requirements. The schedule is flexible and typically around 40 hours per week. There is no cap on hours turned for flat-rate technicians. Service departments are closed on Sundays and open until 6 p.m. during the week.

Requirements

• Automobile repair experience.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform a thorough check of the customer's car.
• Advise the service manager of needed maintenance and preventative measures.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document all repairs performed.
• Document all materials used.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous-waste disposal requirements.
