About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Automotive Painter to work at its vehicle reconditioning center in Belton, Missouri. The Painter prepares vehicles for painting by priming and performing final sanding, and also performs buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. The role uses tools and equipment in a high-tech inspection center. Training programs are offered for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must have at least one year of professional automotive painting experience. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least one year of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
