About The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney admitted or pending admission in Maryland to join its growing firm. The position is full-time and exempt, based out of the firm’s Baltimore office. The standard schedule is 38 hours per week: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Fridays. Hybrid-remote work may be available after 90 days of successful employment in good standing, depending on position requirements and business needs. The firm is seeking a motivated, hardworking attorney with effective communication skills who is ready to contribute to individual and firm success and provide high-quality work to clients.

Requirements

Be admitted or pending admission in Maryland.
Have excellent written, oral communication, and research skills.
Appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.

Nice To Haves

Prior lender-side default services experience.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and file summons and complaints, dispositive motions, and other relevant responsive pleadings.
Appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.
Travel to local state courts as needed for court appearances.
