About The Position

The Entry Level Accountant will participate in the daily operations of the accounting department and will work closely with the Accounting Manager and Corporate Accounting Controller. Provide general accounting support across the spectrum of accounting functions as directed with the aim of ensuring accounting activities and associated financial information is timely, accurate and readily available to support key business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2+ years of experience, with specific exposure to general ledger maintenance
• Must have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Professional level experience with Excel to compile and present data
• Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle software

Responsibilities

• Create and enter monthly journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements
• Track fixed asset activity
• Perform month end close procedures, prepare month end reports and preform various account reconciliations
• Preparation of information and reports requested by auditors
• Special projects as assigned by Management
• Maintain work instructions and procedures for all tasks
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Provide and participate in cross-training as needed
