The Entry Clerk will call trainers in the morning to inform them of upcoming races and make entries. This role requires dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime. The clerk will receive instructions from the Racing Secretary detailing the number and types of races to occur in the upcoming weeks. They will make calls to trainers to take entries to fill races, document horses entering, and print out results of each race day ("overnight") to distribute to appropriate departments. The Entry Clerk will also assist the Racing Secretary with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
