About The Position

Turning Stone Enterprises is seeking a motivated student interested in live entertainment and production for an internship supporting production at its Events Center. The intern will learn how event-center production supports concerts and other events, with a focus on audio, lighting, scheduling, logistics, and safety. The role includes learning from production professionals and observing or assisting with preparation and event-day activities as assigned. This position is open to local students only; housing accommodations are not available.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in a related field such as event management, production, communications, music, or theater.
Strong interest in the entertainment and live event industry.
Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Able to research information and share findings clearly.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Experience with event-related software.
Knowledge of industry trends, technology, or safety practices.

Responsibilities

Learn how audio and lighting support the production of concerts and other events at the Events Center.
Assist with production scheduling and event logistics, including organizing information needed before an event.
Observe or support production preparation and event-day activities as assigned.
Research new production technology and entertainment-industry trends and share key findings with the team.
Learn about safety procedures, staff training, and safe work practices in an event production setting.
