Entertainment Content Writer (Contract)
About The Position
FanSided is seeking new contributors to join its Entertainment coverage team. The role involves writing about various TV, Movie, and Entertainment topics, including Music, Comic Books/Movies/Shows, Outlander, Reality TV & Competition Series, Broadcast Dramas, Late Night TV, One Chicago TV, Streaming TV, Survivor, The Walking Dead, and Broadcast Television. Proposals on other Entertainment topics will also be considered. This program offers aspiring writers experience, a platform, an audience, and support for learning and growth. Contributors have the flexibility to write on topics they are passionate about, on a schedule that fits their lives, and can write as often as they wish. Compensation is based on article traffic accrual each calendar month and may vary by site and experience.
Requirements
- Ability to write clearly and effectively in English.
- Must be able to pitch topic ideas before writing.
- Must write a minimum of one article per calendar month.

- Unparalleled knowledge of specific TV, Movie, and Entertainment topics (Music, Comic Books/Movies/Shows, Outlander, Reality TV & Competition Series, Broadcast Dramas, Late Night TV, One Chicago TV, Streaming TV, Survivor, The Walking Dead, Broadcast Television).
- Proposals on other topics of coverage in the Entertainment division.
- Desire to try new things with writing.
Responsibilities
