Enterprise Software Implementation Specialist
About The Position
The Enterprise Software Implementation Specialist, also known as the Enterprise Orchestrator, Cross-Team Conductor, and Fleet360 Authority, is responsible for managing RTA's largest and most complex customer engagements from contract signing through a successful go-live. This role serves as the primary customer relationship owner during implementation, coordinating across Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM. The specialist will personally handle data cleaning, compilation, and migration into Fleet360, guide fleet managers through critical configuration decisions, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure customers are confident at go-live. This position is crucial for RTA's mission to support its most important accounts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding, or project management role, B2B SaaS strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams across departments simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with comfort in nested formulas, multi-condition logic, and multi-tab, interconnected workbooks.
- Comfortable guiding customers through high-stakes configuration decisions, including conversations with senior fleet and operations leaders.
- Demonstrated, real-world use of AI tools to increase speed or accuracy in your work, with specific examples.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods.
Nice To Haves
- Fleet, fleet-adjacent, or public sector operations experience.
- Direct fleet or asset operations experience (fleet manager, shop supervisor, maintenance coordinator, or municipal, school, and EMS fleet operations).
- Fleet-adjacent industries experience (transportation and logistics, public works, construction or utilities equipment, waste management).
- Fleet-adjacent software implementation or onboarding experience with other fleet, asset, or maintenance management platforms.
- Exposure to SQL or structured databases, including comfort reading relational table structures and writing or modifying basic queries.
- Bachelor's Degree not required, relevant experience and breadth of knowledge matters more.
Responsibilities
- Own the timeline and sequencing across 6 to 8 concurrent enterprise engagements.
- Coordinate across Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM at defined handoff points.
- Proactively surface risk, including cross-departmental dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
- Guide customers through high-stakes fleet configuration decisions with credibility.
- Build customer confidence through proactive communication and clear expectation setting.
- Personally execute data cleanup, compilation, and migration into Fleet360.
- Assess data health across multiple workbooks or source systems, identifying issues before they become go-live problems.
- Manage nested formulas, multi-condition logic, and interconnected workbooks, utilizing AI for efficiency and accuracy.
- Hold the agreed scope line with customers, documenting variations and escalating as needed.
- Operate with an AI-first mindset, using AI to accelerate various aspects of the job while applying human judgment when necessary.
