About The Position

This is a quota-carrying position on a "startup" within the organization focused on winning early customers in verticals outside of public safety and building repeatable sales motions and successful partners. Enterprise Sales Development Representatives partner with Strategic Account Executives to build and implement an effective sales pipeline strategy to drive the adoption of select products and services to Enterprise markets. They operate with grace and professionalism to ensure a delightful customer experience, in coordination with Enterprise Sales Operations & Marketing partners. The role requires a customer-focused, creative, and strategic approach, with an understanding of the Enterprise Sales process and Axon’s unique sales model. We are looking for intelligent people who want to do remarkable things in an environment where they can succeed and enjoy coming to work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of B2B experience as a SDR/BDR or Sales role
  • Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and self-sufficient team player
  • Customer-focused, creative, an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms, and analytical by nature
  • Ability to build pipeline in coordination with Enterprise Account Executives and Marketing Teams
  • Ability to learn a SaaS product and effectively communicate Axon Enterprise’s value to potential customers
  • Self-starter who’s eager to learn while being a core part of building our business from the ground up
  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment, take the initiative to get stuff done or try something new, and share findings with the team

Responsibilities

  • Outbound lead creation for commercial markets
  • Generating interest in the Axon Enterprise solution in target accounts to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Identifying target prospects based on market, firmographic and product signals
  • Defining and improving on prospect messaging
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Ops and other cross functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders within Enterprise accounts
  • Help build the foundation and processes for the Axon Enterprise Team
  • 25% working with existing Account Executives in sales support activities
  • On site travel to F500 companies across the country
