The purpose of the ERP Analyst is to work with end users, product owners, developers and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business, functional or reporting requirements, and business processes. Prepares and/or maintains detailed documentation pertaining to configurations, systems operations, and requirements. Achieves and maintains subject matter expertise relevant to the functional areas of Financial Aid, included but not limited to, Attendance Plans, ISIR processing, Cost of Attendance, Packaging, Award Disbursement, etc within Workday Student. Works with product teams and product managers to implement changes and enhancements to applications. An ERP Analyst 2 will be required to perform additional duties with more autonomy and less required supervision and consultation with superiors. Examples include being assigned as lead analyst on various projects, enhancement initiatives, and software implementations and representing the department with software vendors. An ERP Analyst 2 will also be expected to provide more consulting services to business users, leveraging advanced critical thinking skills. An ERP Analyst 3 will be required to perform additional duties with more autonomy and less required supervision and consultation with superiors than an ERP Analyst 2. Will be expected to be experts in their respective functional areas and provide consulting services to business users with minimal to no management direct oversight. Additional examples include serving as technical lead on various projects, creating and maintaining module roadmaps and assuming responsibility that priorities are established and executed, becoming an expert on Workday Reporting and learning SAS Enterprise Guide for advanced reporting needs, assuming responsibility of manual and automated testing efforts for assigned functional areas, and mentoring junior analysts in Workday business process, reporting, and security configuration.
