About The Position

Dow has an opportunity for an Enterprise Resiliency Specialist located in Midland, MI. The Enterprise Resiliency Specialist supports Dow’s enterprise‑wide resiliency program by assisting in the development, maintenance, and execution of business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis preparedness activities. This role works closely with business, IT, and security partners to help ensure Dow can anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptive events that may impact critical processes, systems, or services. This is an individual contributor role focused on operational execution, analysis, and coordination rather than enterprise ownership or strategy development.

Requirements

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant OR 5 years relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Foundational knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational risk management concepts.
Experience working with business or IT stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, or support operational programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain resiliency concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global environment.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting BCP or DR planning, testing, or audits in a large enterprise environment.
Familiarity with resiliency or service management tools (e.g., BCM, ServiceNow, or similar platforms).
Awareness of industry standards or frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, IT service management).
Experience supporting cross‑functional coordination during incidents, exercises, or operational reviews.

Responsibilities

Support the development, maintenance, and validation of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery (DR) documentation for businesses, functions, and critical applications.
Assist with resiliency assessments, identifying risks, gaps, and recovery dependencies across business processes and IT systems.
Coordinate and support resiliency testing activities (e.g., tabletop exercises, plan reviews, recovery simulations) and capture lessons learned.
Maintain resiliency data within approved tools and repositories, ensuring information is accurate, current, and audit‑ready.
Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security teams to support enterprise critical application recovery programs.
Contribute to crisis preparedness and response activities, including documentation support, coordination, and post‑event analysis.
Support resiliency training and awareness efforts across Dow businesses and functions.
Assist with reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement activities for the Enterprise Resiliency program.
