This role is for a Power BI Developer supporting the newly formed Center of Excellence (COE) team for Enterprise Platforms at U.S. Bank. The successful candidate will enhance existing Power BI dashboard reporting and develop new reports for various initiatives, working closely with Enterprise Platforms Finance management teams and U.S. Bank Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
  • Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytics
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data visualization and analytics solutions that support financial decision-making.
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across all financial reports and stay current with best practices in data visualization, analytics, and cloud-based BI tools.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements in analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and provides a high level of customer service.
