About The Position

Enterprise Platform Leaders are influential leaders who help guide the technical and operational direction of Atlas enterprise platforms, supporting platform stability, resilience, and long‑term sustainability. They act as trusted advisors and decision‑makers, helping resolve the most complex and high‑risk challenges while enabling delivery teams to perform at scale. Partnering closely with Business Owners, Product Owners, and Architects, they contribute to planning, backlog grooming, and delivery strategy, ensuring outcomes are executed with quality from design through testing and go‑live. They promote architectural alignment by reinforcing enterprise patterns and best practices, identifying gaps, and collaborating on the creation and adoption of new standards when required. Enterprise Platform Leaders support platform‑wide operational health, leading escalations, managing outages, and driving root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. As senior members of squads, they model agile leadership, champion SDLC excellence, and set expectations for testing, automation, documentation, security, and operational readiness. They are accountable for growing organizational capability through coaching and mentoring consultants, partnering with Architects and Chapter Leads to drive technical, people, and process maturity. Through strong stakeholder engagement and a continuous improvement mindset, they champion value optimization by eliminating inefficiencies and ensuring enterprise platforms consistently deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience in their specialty platform
  • 5+ years’ experience in an agile delivery culture
  • 2+ years’ experience with multiple complementary technical skills (such as an additional platforms in the ecosystem)
  • Experience delivering applications within an automated CI/CD, SDLC and automated testing advantageous airline or logistics experience an advantage but not essential
  • 5+ years’ experience coaching junior team members

Responsibilities

  • Guides the direction and leads delivery of complex platform capabilities aligned to enterprise standards and SDLC.
  • Provide senior technical leadership, unblocking teams and guiding consultants through complex business challenges.
  • Leads platform reliability and operational excellence, supporting 24x7 availability of critical business services.
  • Help define and manage platform SLAs to meet business, risk, and operational expectations.
  • Drive transparency and accountability through clear reporting on platform health, uptime, and performance.
  • Lead major incident escalations and coordinate effective resolution and post‑incident learning.
  • Provide oversight of vendor platform engagements, ensuring outcomes align to business objectives.
  • Champion high‑performing team culture, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead prioritization and outcome‑focused delivery through effective backlog grooming and planning.
  • Ensure delivery predictability through strong estimation practices and performance metrics.
  • Coach other leaders and teams through retrospectives, capability growth, and maturity improvement.
  • Engage confidently with senior enterprise stakeholders, translating strategy into executable outcomes.
  • Articulate platform and chapter strategy, clearly connecting work delivered to business value.
  • Support the Chapter Lead in running the chapter, evolving practices, and developing talent.
  • Mentor and develop consultants, building long‑term capability and leadership bench strength.
