About The Position

The Enterprise Data Architect serves in the Architecture Principal job role within Infosys’ Strategic Technology Group (STG), a unit for experienced technologists who tackle complex, large-scale technology challenges. The position combines architectural leadership and hands-on technical guidance, helping shape technology direction, solve business challenges, and deliver resilient outcomes while mentoring teams and influencing practices across programs. The architect partners with business stakeholders to elicit and align requirements, evaluates client technology landscapes, and develops secure, scalable architectural designs and transformation roadmaps. The role advises technical teams and client stakeholders, guides modernization and performance optimization, addresses technology risks, and ensures architecture aligns with business goals and standards. It also includes developing technical knowledge, contributing to proposals and go-to-market materials, and representing the organization at industry forums and in professional publications. The role focuses on enterprise data platforms and data-driven solutions. It calls for experience across the data engineering lifecycle, modern data architectures and platforms, governance and security, integration, analytics, and AI foundations. The architect is expected to have previously led architecture teams on large programs and to provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring. A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required, although three years of progressive specialty experience may substitute for each year of education. Relocation and/or travel to the work or project location may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

  • Very good understanding of enterprise architecture and data management frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and DAMA-DMBOK, with practical application of one or more.
  • Working awareness of analytics, dashboards, AI-enabled applications, and how data products reach end users.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
