About The Position

As a Cyber Education and Execution Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in helping to elevate the cybersecurity posture of the Booz Allen’s workforce. In this role, you will advance the cybersecurity mission by developing tailored training exercises, analyzing data to develop reports, supporting resolution of security vulnerabilities, and driving key business operations to completion. By contributing to these impactful initiatives, you will build a practical foundation in cybersecurity resilience and execution management. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of productivity tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to display a willingness to learn new platforms, such as SharePoint, JIRA, Service Now, Zen Guide, Workday, Power Automate, or PowerBI
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to tailor messages to specific audiences
  • Ability to display an interest in cybersecurity fundamentals related to execution and education
  • Scheduled to obtain Bachelor’s degree by Summer 2028
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a strong foundation in enterprise cybersecurity resilience and execution frameworks to support large scale cyber operations by gaining foundational knowledge of cyber security to better understand the mission, team organization, principles, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Applying knowledge to real world projects for remediation management of security vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to ongoing education initiatives, such as phishing campaigns, training curriculum development and deployments, and education and awareness communications.
  • Assisting with key operational processes to identify and maintain cyber products and vendor relationships in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing landscape.
  • Participating in team meetings, and assisting in editing and drafting communications for targeted user groups.
  • Assisting in content creation of cyber security briefings, podcast episode topics, cyber news stories and tipper posts, and maintaining ongoing FAQ list for risk mitigation strategies geared toward high-risk groups.
