About The Position

The Enterprise Business Services Specialist (Finance Focus) serves as a technology partner to the Finance Corporate Function, supporting operational priorities and driving intake, roadmap planning, solution design, and delivery of Finance initiatives. The position aligns business priorities with IT execution and supports cross-functional integration.

The specialist supports IT–business integration for Finance by communicating priorities, releases, updates, and issues. They lead functional and user acceptance testing for Finance releases, serve as an escalation point for application issues, coordinate requirements intake and prioritization, and contribute to roadmap updates and planning for major system changes and implementations. The role also supports solution planning and execution with project and delivery teams, defines minimum viable product scope, informs release planning, shapes product direction, applies Finance process knowledge to solution design, and promotes simplified, agile delivery approaches.

Requirements

• US citizenship.
• 3–5 years of experience in the listed areas.
• Advanced business requirements analysis skills, including translating complex Finance needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Advanced business process design and workflow optimization skills, including mapping and optimizing Finance workflows aligned to enterprise objectives.
• Advanced Agile methods and ceremonies skills, including creating user stories and leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills to facilitate intake discussions, prioritization, and alignment with Finance stakeholders.
• Intermediate documentation and configuration management skills, including developing requirements documents, functional specifications, and configuration support materials.
• Advanced solution design and functional architecture skills, using knowledge of Finance operations and corporate-function technology patterns.
• Intermediate to advanced testing leadership skills, including planning and executing UAT cycles, managing defects, and validating readiness for Finance releases.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, Cognos BI, ServiceNow, Blue Prism, and/or Power BI Analytics.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of release coordination, change control practices, and deployment readiness.
• Ability to use JIRA for backlog refinement, intake prioritization, user story creation, and roadmap tracking.
• Exposure to quality and testing tools, including JIRA, to support UAT execution and defect management.
• A process simplification and workflow optimization mindset, including identifying improvement opportunities and streamlining documentation and intake workflows.
• Experience coordinating across Corporate Functions, IT delivery teams, and stakeholders to achieve integrated Finance solution outcomes.
• Strong executive-level communication skills, including translating technical, security, and regulatory topics into actionable, business-aligned content for senior leaders and decision forums.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT–business integration point for Finance by communicating priorities, releases, updates, and issues.
• Lead functional and user acceptance testing for Finance releases, including planning, script execution, and defect management.
• Serve as an escalation point for Finance application issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Partner with Finance intake leads to capture, refine, and prioritize regulatory and functional requirements.
• Support updates to the Finance portion of the IT Enterprise Transformation Roadmap and plan major system changes and implementations.
• Work with Project Managers and Delivery Leads to support solution planning and execution.
• Define minimum viable product scope, inform release planning, and shape product direction for Finance-aligned initiatives.
• Apply functional knowledge of Finance processes to support solution design.
• Promote simplified, agile approaches that improve Finance delivery efficiency.
