The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As a BDR, you will report to the Director of Pipeline Creation, and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities focused on the enterprise segment through a combination of inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound outreach. You will be the first point of contact for many of our prospects, playing a critical role in building pipeline and fueling the growth of our sales organization. You will also partner closely with Account Executives to create Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and drive success within their assigned territories. You will be based in the Boston/Greater Boston area, with occasional in-person meetings and onboarding support as required. You will be expected to work Pacific Time hours (7:30 AM PT to 4:00 PM PT / 10:30 AM ET to 7:00 PM ET) 4 days per week to support West Coast accounts, and Eastern Time / East Coast hours (8:00 AM ET to 4:30 PM ET) 1 day per week to align with greater team meetings. Your first 30 days of onboarding will adhere to Eastern Time hours.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience hitting and exceeding quota and maintaining daily activity levels in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role, ideally within an enterprise B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven ability to efficiently communicate value propositions and conduct initial qualification of prospects.
  • Proven track record of success in both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric and consultative approach.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Tenacious, results-driven, and eager to learn and grow within a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough initial qualification of inbound and outbound leads by understanding prospect needs, business challenges, and fit with our solution. Use defined criteria to determine sales readiness and prioritize outreach.
  • Quickly and clearly articulate the value of our enterprise SaaS platform and apps to prospects, tailoring messaging to address their specific pain points and business objectives.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns, website forms, events, and referrals. Qualify leads based on defined criteria and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team.
  • Conduct targeted outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential enterprise customers within assigned verticals or territories. Identify decision-makers and influencers, and generate interest in our SaaS Business Transformation platform and apps.
  • Consistently build a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to support sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to create and nurture Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) within their territories, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment on territory strategies.
  • Engage prospects in consultative conversations to understand their business challenges, needs, and objectives. Effectively communicate our value proposition and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities and to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Accurately document all prospect interactions, activities, and outcomes in Salesforce (or similar CRM). Provide regular updates and insights to sales leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales development.
