About The Position
The Enterprise Azure Integration Architect will lead the architecture, design, and modernization of large-scale enterprise integration platforms supporting more than 1,000 interfaces across mission-critical business applications. The role focuses on enterprise integration architecture, Azure-native integration services, API management, messaging platforms, and modernization of legacy middleware, particularly migration from TIBCO to Azure. The architect will define enterprise-wide integration standards, reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and governance models; design high-volume integration capabilities across synchronous, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven patterns; and establish secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant platforms. The role also provides technical leadership to multiple integration development teams and collaborates with enterprise architecture teams, business stakeholders, and engineering leadership on modernization roadmaps.
Requirements
- 12–15+ years of IT experience with significant expertise in enterprise integration and solution architecture.
- Proven experience architecting enterprise integration platforms with more than 1,000 interfaces across multiple business systems.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
- Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, messaging protocols, OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise security.
- Experience with integration governance, architecture standards, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Excellent technical leadership, stakeholder management, and enterprise architecture documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with TIBCO EMS, BusinessWorks, and TIBCO CLE migration to Azure.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise integration modernization programs.
- Knowledge of Azure Container Apps, Java, .NET, and custom integration adapters.
- Experience with SAP and complex ERP integration ecosystems.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise-wide integration architecture supporting more than 1,000 interfaces, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Architect Azure integration solutions using Azure API Management (Premium), Logic Apps (Standard), Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus (Premium).
- Establish enterprise integration standards, reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and governance models.
- Design high-volume, mission-critical integration platforms supporting synchronous, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven communication.
- Lead modernization and migration of large-scale TIBCO integration environments to Azure-native services.
- Design enterprise messaging architecture, including message routing, guaranteed delivery, retries, dead-letter handling, and disaster recovery.
- Architect integrations across SAP, ERP, cloud, on-premises, and third-party enterprise applications.
- Establish API lifecycle management, security policies, versioning, throttling, and enterprise API governance.
- Implement centralized monitoring and observability using Azure Log Analytics and Application Insights.
- Drive architecture reviews, performance optimization, capacity planning, and high-availability strategies.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams, business stakeholders, and engineering leadership to define integration modernization roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership to multiple integration development teams and ensure architectural consistency across the enterprise.
