About The Position

Guiding Akamai customers through strategic and technical aspects of cloud network transformation and implementation; Architecting complex IaaS solutions involving cloud based applications, architecture and strategy; Driving customer success and continuous consumption of Linode network product, as extension of the integrated account teams; Decomposing application components and determining how to leverage various open source technologies to achieve logical outcomes; Leading solution and product innovation initiatives and evangelizing use cases/technology trends and influence product roadmap; Facilitating customers builds of service-oriented architecture, web services, and Application Programming Interfaces; Building technical thought-leadership in Cloud Computing to support overall Akamai business growth; Partnering with enablement groups in Akamai Cloud Compute, Security and Delivery to solve enterprise workload challenges. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus five (5) years of experience in the Job offered or closely related technical role.
Alternatively, no degree and eight (8) years of experience in the Job offered or closely related technical role.
Three (3) years of experience in Designing and implementing secure solutions across Azure, AWS, and multi-cloud environments
Three (3) years of experience in Managing cloud transformation initiatives
Three (3) years of experience in Establishing backup, archival, and disaster recovery strategies
Three (3) years of experience in Conducting network and security architecture reviews
Three (3) years of experience in DevOps & automation
Three (3) years of experience in CI/CD
Three (3) years of experience in Gibhub
Three (3) years of experience in Terraform
Three (3) years of experience in Zero Trust Security
Three (3) years of experience in IAM
