About The Position

CTG is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the evolution of enterprise infrastructure architecture across Azure cloud, hybrid environments, and co-location data centers. This role will drive strategic architecture initiatives, define enterprise standards, and partner with senior technology leaders to develop scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions that support business growth and innovation. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Technologies, and executive-level stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, automation, and long-term technology strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience; or a combined minimum of eleven (11) years of higher education and/or related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure Architecture practices.
  • Experience designing and governing cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and architecture tools.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent).
  • Cloud certifications and experience with Azure or other major cloud providers.
  • Experience in Agile environments.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience developing enterprise technology roadmaps and infrastructure strategies.
  • Knowledge of container platforms, distributed systems, AI infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise infrastructure architecture across Azure cloud, hybrid environments, networking, compute, and platform services.
  • Develop and communicate current-state, future-state, and roadmap strategies for enterprise technology domains.
  • Establish architecture standards, principles, and patterns supporting scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Lead architecture efforts related to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including reliability frameworks, SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, disaster recovery, and automation.
  • Collaborate with technology leadership to align architecture decisions with business goals and enterprise strategies.
  • Research emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and strategic planning.
  • Provide architectural guidance for strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide technology investments.
  • Partner with engineering, security, data, cloud, and platform teams to ensure solution alignment and implementation success.
  • Support architecture governance activities and provide recommendations to senior leadership and architecture review boards.
  • Communicate technical concepts, tradeoffs, risks, and investment priorities to executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business leadership.
  • Translate enterprise technology vision into actionable architecture standards and roadmaps.
  • Promote consistency, reuse, and optimization across enterprise technology investments.
  • Develop architecture reference materials and best practices for delivery teams.
  • Identify and mitigate architecture-related risks and compliance concerns.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational risk management, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple technology domains and stakeholder groups.
