This role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week in the Oakland, CA office, with the rest of the time worked remotely. The IT department is responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining information and telecommunications systems to support the company's mission. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, project management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with deep expertise in various technologies and platforms. Experience in the utility industry is highly desirable. Reporting to the Lead Enterprise Architect, this role involves developing the architecture vision for business domains, understanding business processes, application portfolios, and IT infrastructure, and suggesting technology investments. The role also includes creating business architecture models, owning application portfolios, developing enterprise strategy, building prioritized backlogs, enabling execution teams with architectural guidance, and coaching implementation teams.
