About The Position

Seeking a Senior Medicaid Data Architect / Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of large-scale Medicaid analytics and data warehouse solutions supporting the Integrated Continuum of Care Analytics (ICCA) initiative. The architect will drive enterprise data strategy, cloud data integration, data governance, metadata management, master data management (MDM), AI-enabled analytics, and Medicaid data architecture across multi-terabyte healthcare environments.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of Data Architecture principles, capabilities, and best practices with the proven ability to define, document and apply standards and best practices
• Experience with business processes, data management, data flows, data relationships, data quality standards and processes, and proficiency with data analytical and quality tools
• Extensive experience in working with Medicaid data; specifically in the areas such as provider claims & encounters as well as client movements and clinical assessments.
• Experience in building and maintaining a Medicaid Data Warehouse.
• Extensive architecture experience and knowledge in the areas of Reference Data, Data Quality, Metadata Management
• Experience leading and evolving corporate culture to a data driven organization
• Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels
• 12+ years in Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Management.
• 10+ years working with Medicaid data , including claims, encounters, member movement, and clinical assessment data.
• 8+ years building and supporting large-scale Medicaid Data Warehouses .
• Strong expertise in: Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Reference Data Management, Master Data Management (MDM), Enterprise Analytics
• Experience leading organizations toward a data-driven culture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing/implementing data acquisitions for Master Data Management, Data Warehouse or other Performance Management system.
• Experience with public health care or Insurance business domain
• Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from DAMA

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Medicaid data architectures and cloud-based data hubs.
• Lead Medicaid data warehouse, data governance, metadata, data quality, and MDM initiatives.
• Develop enterprise data standards, policies, and best practices.
• Architect analytics solutions for provider claims, encounters, clinical assessments, and member data.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and data governance stakeholders.
• Drive AI-assisted data analysis, prompt engineering, and validation of AI-generated insights.
• Create long-term Medicaid data and analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide executive-level guidance on data architecture, governance, and performance analytics.
