Enterprise Account Manager | Americas

Planhat•Los Angeles, CA
•$140,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Planhat is hiring a quota-carrying Enterprise Account Manager to own the commercial side of a portfolio of its largest Americas customers. The role is accountable for the full commercial value of those accounts, including renewals, retention, expansion of existing products, and sales of new Planhat products. The Account Manager partners with a Deployment Strategist on each account: the strategist owns delivery and customer value, while the Account Manager owns the commercial relationship, contracts, and revenue outcomes. The position involves managing renewals from forecasting through negotiation and signature, identifying and closing expansion opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders and economic buyers, running commercial processes, and maintaining disciplined account-level forecasts. The successful candidate will also help build a repeatable renewal and expansion approach across the enterprise portfolio and collaborate across Deployment, Growth, Sales, and Product.

Requirements

  • Track record of hitting, and ideally exceeding, ambitious targets for renewals and expansion in enterprise accounts.
  • Experience owning a quota or commercial number and creating opportunities proactively.
  • Ability to identify renewal risk early and take action to protect retention.
  • Understanding of enterprise SaaS, technology companies, and the commercial challenges facing modern, AI-forward businesses.
  • Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity, evolving priorities, and the absence of an established playbook.
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, urgency, and willingness to put in the work needed to deliver results while maintaining sound judgment and relationships.
  • Commercial curiosity, including the ability to learn products deeply, uncover customer needs, and translate product capabilities into business value.
  • Competitive, accountable, collaborative, and low-ego approach to work.

  • Engage senior stakeholders and economic buyers at technology and AI companies, connecting Planhat to their commercial priorities and business outcomes.
  • Own commercial processes on opportunities, from discovery and business case through pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Maintain accurate account-level forecasts for renewal and expansion revenue and communicate forecast status and rationale to leadership.
