About The Position

Sierra is building a platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences using AI. The company is primarily in-person, based in San Francisco, with expanding offices globally. Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role, either with Mid-market or SMB accounts.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the AI landscape, key players, and emerging trends.
  • Experience building GTM strategies: Building sales teams and sales motions from scratch, or from early stage growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build new relationships with Commercial customers and prospects to drive revenue, pipeline, and deployment capacity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead negotiations with existing customers and prospective clients, addressing objections and closing deals.
  • Ensure all contracts and agreements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize terms and conditions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Create tailored sales presentations and proposals to address the specific needs of enterprise clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns and presentations.
  • Help define the Go-To-Market (GTM) function's operations and success.
  • Work closely with the broader GTM team, as well as product, technical, and operations organizations.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
