Enterprise Account Executives for Sunrise Electric/Viking Electric are responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with new and existing lighting focused customers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales required, preferably in the lighting and electrical industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Strong understanding of Electric products and Viking Electric services and solutions.
  • Good understanding of the market and competitors and basic financial skills.
  • Must have effective negotiating skills.
  • Strong selling, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales growth plans for target customers, focusing on account conversions, in conjunction with sales management and the marketing department.
  • Grow sales and market share by providing unique, valuable commercial insights on the customer’s business and market, helping them navigate alternatives and avoid potential risks, teaching them a better way to achieve their objectives, and leading them to Viking Electric’s value propositions.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and vendors with full autonomy.
  • Support sales management with seamless hand-off of converted customers for sales assignment and post-sales support.
  • Create and execute an ongoing plan to increase value to Viking Electric and its customers in conjunction with actively participating in all job-related training opportunities, informational seminars, business meetings, etc.
