About The Position

Fairfield College Preparatory School, an all-boys Jesuit, Catholic high school, is seeking qualified candidates who are energetic and passionate educators for a full-time position as an English Teacher. As an Ignatian Educator, this teacher will be expected to teach five sections of English, participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program, collaborate with the English Department, attend department and faculty meetings and professional development, assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community, and commit to developing young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth. The role involves teaching students in a 1:1 setting with iPads.

Requirements

• Experience teaching in a high school setting
• Experience with, or familiarity with, the Jesuit ideals
• Hold at least a BA in English and / or Secondary Education

Responsibilities

• Teach five sections of English
