Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification
  • Previous experience teaching ENGLISH and/or LANGUAGE at the K-12 level
  • A committed Christian with a demonstrated alignment with the school's mission and values.
  • Experience in a classroom setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Proficient in using educational technology and tools.
  • Positive attitude and dedication to fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to facilitate learning.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior among students.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities to enrich student engagement.
  • MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
