About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has been dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential through individualized learning. The academy offers a nurturing, student-centered environment across 26 campuses in 10 states, focusing on meaningful learning experiences. This role allows teachers to focus solely on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and learning styles, and guiding them towards academic success without the burden of lesson planning, parent conferences, or extensive grading.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related field.
- Patience and empathy, with an understanding that every student learns differently.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
