About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has focused on helping students achieve their full potential through personalized learning. The academy offers a nurturing, student-centered environment with 26 campuses across 11 states. This role allows teachers to focus solely on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to individual needs and learning styles, and guiding students to mastery. The position eliminates the need for lesson planning, parent conferences, and extensive grading, allowing educators to concentrate on inspiring their students. Professional development opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related field.
- Patience and empathy, with an understanding that every student learns differently.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
