About The Position
The Marion campus seeks a part-time English semester lecturer to teach during the Spring 2027 semester. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to The Ohio State University's teaching mission and experience teaching lecture courses. The lecturer will teach combined-section courses English 1110.03 and 1193: First-Year English Composition and its companion course.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field of study.
- Evidence of expertise in effective undergraduate teaching.
- At least one year of teaching experience at the college level.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching at The Ohio State University, a land-grant university, and/or a regional campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach English 1110.03 and 1193, combined-section courses in First-Year English Composition and its companion course.
