About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Montessori Public School of Arlington. The role involves teaching English Learners and requires specific Virginia licensure and endorsements. The ideal candidate will have experience in relevant educational areas, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working with a diverse community of learners. Familiarity with the APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures is also expected.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Elementary Education endorsement.
- English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
- Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
