English Language Teacher in Indianapolis

About The Position
Global LT is hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person English lessons to an adult client in Indianapolis. The student is a high-intermediate English speaker who speaks Mandarin at home and wants to improve presentation skills, day-to-day communication, and confidence when speaking. Lessons should be business-focused and tailored to the student’s interests and professional goals. The requested schedule is twice a week for one hour per lesson, on weekdays between 5 and 6 p.m., preferably Thursdays and Fridays. The student would also like a hybrid arrangement with occasional virtual lessons. The preferred start date is ASAP, and the lesson location is near Thai Paradise, 137 W Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in English.
- A degree in education, TESOL, linguistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL.
Responsibilities
- Design structured business-focused English lessons.
