The English Learner (EL) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the school's English Learner (EL) program. The coordinator ensures that students receive timely academic and behavioral interventions, monitors intervention effectiveness through data analysis, and oversees compliance with state and federal requirements related to English Learner identification, services, and progress monitoring. The EL Coordinator serves as a collaborative leader who works across departments to ensure equitable access to academic success and student support services. This position reports directly to the Dean of Students & Culture and works closely with the Director of Exceptional Children, Assessment & Accountability Coordinator, Assistant Principal of Instruction, School Counselors, and instructional staff. This role will support classroom instruction and program activities for multilingual learners, including students learning English. This role works closely with classroom teachers and program leaders to strengthen students' English language development, literacy, and academic skills; build strong relationships with families; and ensure required program documentation is complete and accurate.
