About The Position
The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education (TCRCE) is seeking a Term English Language Arts Teacher for grades 7-9 Immersion, English Language Arts 10, English Communications 12, and Art 7 & 7/8/9 Immersion. This position is for the period of September 2026 to January 2027, with a possibility of extension. The TCRCE serves approximately 6100 students in twenty-two schools across the counties of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby. Requirements
- Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
- Bachelor of Education - Secondary
- University education in English Language Arts
- University education in Visual Arts
- Values working alongside those with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
- Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
