About The Position

FlexSchool is an accredited private school network serving gifted, twice-exceptional, and non-traditional learners. The English Language Arts Teacher combines strong teaching practices with creativity, collaboration, and personalized support to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The role includes planning and teaching at least five classes per trimester, creating inclusive classroom environments, and working closely with Learning Specialists and Counselors to support student Learning Profiles and accommodations.

The teacher maintains grades, assignments, and communications through school systems; leads a daily advisory focused on academic and executive functioning growth; and communicates regularly with students and families. The position also involves faculty collaboration, professional development, school events, electives, FlexFriday programming, and preparation of student progress reports and related documentation. The role is based on campus approximately 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with participation in key school events and professional activities during the year.

Responsibilities
