English Contract Attorney
About The Position
Contact Review is seeking barred attorneys to perform English-language document review and related legal support on a project-by-project basis. Work may include document review, privilege review, expert testimony, legal research, and foreign-language translation. The company describes its project teams as collaborative, with project managers, programmers, engineers, reviewers, and analysts working as extensions of clients’ teams to improve efficiency and streamline workflows. Location and hours are established for each project. Remote work and work outside standard business hours may be available depending on the project. The start date is negotiable. Compensation is $27–$40 per hour.
Requirements
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and status in good standing.
- Familiarity with document review workflows, such as privilege or responsiveness review, redactions, conceptual searching, and first- and second-level review.
- Experience with electronic document review technology, such as Relativity, Concordance, or ViewPoint.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a member of a document review team.
- Familiarity with Relativity 9.0 or a higher version.
- At least two years of legal support experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform document review, including privilege and responsiveness review, redactions, conceptual searching, and first- and second-level review.
- Support projects involving privilege review, expert testimony, legal research, or foreign-language translation, as assigned.
- Work with project managers, programmers, engineers, reviewers, and analysts as part of client project teams.
