About The Position

Slasify is building a talent pool of freelance writers for upcoming content needs. Applications will be reviewed, and suitable candidates may be contacted as assignments become available. The writer will use Slasify’s AI-assisted workflow to review briefs, create and edit drafts, fact-check information, and prepare articles for publication. The role requires sound judgment to identify inaccurate, incomplete, or unnatural content before and during drafting. Writers will produce about 4 to 6 articles per month, typically 1,200 to 2,500 words each, with each article ready for review within five business days. Up to two revision rounds are included. All work is confidential, and writers must sign an NDA before starting. Writers use their own paid Claude account. The role is remote and open to freelancers worldwide, with payment per article.

Requirements

• Native-level English writing and editing skills, with clear grammar and a natural style.
• Working knowledge of SEO and GEO, including search intent, keyword placement, heading structure, and how AI search tools surface content.
• Ability to identify problems in a brief before drafting begins.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to create professional content.
• Strong fact-checking habits and comfort finding and reading official government sources.
• Ability to identify AI-sounding text and rewrite it naturally.
• Use of a personal paid Claude account.
• Ability to complete assigned articles within five business days and accommodate up to two revision rounds.
• Willingness to sign an NDA before starting.

Nice To Haves

• Prior B2B content writing experience, ideally in HR tech, fintech, or SaaS.
• Familiarity with Google’s E-E-A-T principles and how to demonstrate them in content.
• Basic understanding of global remote work, cross-border compliance, payroll, or Employer of Record services.
• Experience with prompt-based or multi-step AI workflows.
• Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
• A Canva Pro account.

Responsibilities

• Use Slasify’s AI tools and writing guides to create a brief, first draft, and editorial review for each assigned topic.
• Review briefs to ensure the keyword, angle, and structure make sense, and flag issues before drafting.
• Match search intent by ensuring each article answers the reader’s query and revising or removing irrelevant sections.
• Verify legal, tax, and payroll figures using official government sources and add inline links.
• Edit generic AI phrasing so articles sound clear, specific, and human.
• Check keywords, headings, FAQ answers, and internal links against SEO and GEO guidelines.
• Download images from Canva, convert them to WebP files under 150 KB, and write descriptive alt text.
• Submit completed articles to the content lead and revise them based on feedback.
• Proofread existing articles for grammar, clarity, and outdated facts when needed.
