About The Position

Shorter University, a Christ-centered institution affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for the English Department within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and be dedicated to the mission and vision of the department, college, and university. This role involves teaching on-ground sections of English Composition I (ENG 1010) or English Composition II (ENG 1020) at the Rome, Georgia campus.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in English or a related field.
• Be a committed Christian.
• Sign and adhere to the Personal Lifestyle Statement.

Responsibilities

• Teaching one or two on-ground sections of ENG 1010 (English Composition I) or ENG 1020 (English Composition II) at our campus in Rome, Georgia.
