About The Position

As an Engineering Applications Administrator, you will manage the effective use, administration, integration, and lifecycle of engineering, construction, and field technology systems. You will serve as Engineering’s subject matter expert for these tools—providing advanced support, guiding operational use, and ensuring deployments align with enterprise Information Communication Technology (ICT) and security policies. This role sits within the Engineering department (separate from ICT), which oversees physical infrastructure design and construction. You will serve as Engineering’s primary liaison to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), translating operational and technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions while ensuring alignment with infrastructure, security, endpoint management, and ICT operations teams. You will coordinate with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for configuration, implementation, and lifecycle management of engineering tools in line with ICT standards, including deployments, upgrades, patches, testing, validation, and readiness. You will provide functional administration and support for engineering platforms (e.g., Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM), surveying, mapping, reality capture, construction management, design analysis, and collaboration tools), ensuring effective configuration and use. You will act as the first-line Engineering support contact for advanced troubleshooting of engineering software, peripherals, and high-performance workstations, coordinating escalation with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as needed. You will coordinate with ICT for advanced functional support for engineering software, specialized peripherals, and high-performance workstations by serving as an initial point of contact within Engineering for troubleshooting and user assistance. You will monitor engineering systems, support incident response and on-call recovery, and assist in rapid diagnosis and resolution in collaboration with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teams. You will Manage engineering hardware standards and workstation specifications, coordinating with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for onboarding, refresh cycles, provisioning, and peripheral requirements. You will develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions using approved platforms to improve reliability, streamline deployments, and reduce downtime, while ensuring compliance with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) standards. You will identify and implement operational improvements, coordinating with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for technical automation needs and ensuring alignment with enterprise guidelines. You will lead Engineering participation in cross-functional initiatives involving applications, infrastructure, and data, representing operational needs and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
