About The Position

Perrygo is seeking an Engineering Technician at the junior or journeyman level to support a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, Maryland area. The position provides hands-on technical support for engineering and testing activities, including operating and maintaining technical systems and test equipment, supporting integration and laboratory work, and assisting technical staff with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation. The role is pending a contract award. The position is primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available depending on assigned duties and company approval. Travel is less than 5%. A Secret clearance is required; an interim Secret clearance is acceptable, and candidates must be U.S. citizens. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience.

Requirements

Junior level: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
Journeyman level: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
A bachelor’s degree; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree may be replaced by 6 additional years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience.
Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support for engineering and testing activities.
Install, operate, adjust, and maintain technical systems and test equipment.
Support integration, fabrication, laboratory activities, and equipment demonstrations.
Collect, record, and interpret test data as assigned.
Assist technical staff with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation.
