About The Position

Perrygo is seeking a CAD Drafter at the Junior or Journeyman level to support a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, Maryland area. The position provides computer-aided design and drafting support, primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available depending on assigned duties and company approval. Travel is less than 5%. The position is pending a contract award.

Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience. A Secret security clearance is required; interim Secret is acceptable, and candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Requirements

• Junior level: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
• Journeyman level: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
• A bachelor’s degree; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree may be replaced by 6 additional years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide computer-aided design and drafting support.
• Prepare and update CAD drawings from engineering sketches and specifications.
• Develop technical drawings showing dimensions, materials, and procedures.
• Apply engineering and manufacturing concepts to drawing development.
• Coordinate drawing changes with engineering and technical staff.
