Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational education required.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite, diagnostic software).
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Technician experience in automotive or related technical industries preferred.
  • Prior experience in vehicle commissioning or vehicle testing programs.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter).
  • Understanding of CAN bus communication and vehicle architecture.
  • Knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems and industry testing practices.
  • 5+ years of technician experience for advanced technician levels.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering Technicians support vehicle system and component testing for complete vehicle development programs.
  • Execute vehicle commissioning tests per customer and engineering requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing and performance issues, along with collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer teams to validate vehicle performance.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Perform vehicle commissioning and system-level tests according to customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical issues.
  • Lead and maintain 5S standards and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Document test results, maintenance actions, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
  • Mentor and support lower-level technicians; act as a technical lead as assigned.
  • Interface with customers and support production, quality, and process improvement activities.
