About The Position

We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to join the REFAB team. In this role, you’ll work alongside Engineering and Manufacturing to turn customer designs into drawings, routings, bills of materials, and documentation our teams need to build great products. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical work but doesn’t want to spend every day behind a desk. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with engineers and shop floor team members, solve problems, and see firsthand how your work impacts production.

Requirements

Experience using CAD software
Experience creating or modifying technical or engineering drawings
An understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation
Familiarity with routings, bills of materials, control plans, or similar manufacturing information
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
The ability to communicate and work well with engineers and shop floor team members
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

Two years of related experience or additional education is preferred, but we're open to different combinations of education and hands-on experience.
Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, metal fabrication, or a similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Creating and updating CAD drawings, prints, templates, and manufacturing documentation
Developing manufacturing routings and bills of materials
Creating internal manufacturing print packages from customer drawings and parts
Maintaining control plans and other engineering documentation
Supporting engineers with projects and CAD detailing
Helping answer engineering-related questions on the shop floor
Working with Manufacturing to troubleshoot problems and keep jobs moving
Participating in continuous improvement and special projects
