A Day in the Life The Engineering Technician V will help develop products and processes at the Medtronic Energy and Component Center (MECC) for the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business. This position supports the day-to-day operation of the lab – monitoring ongoing tests, initiating new tests, and maintaining a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment. Additionally, they also support R&D prototype builds for electrochemical cells - batteries and capacitors. Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. It is comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services, and Patient Care Systems. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. At Medtronic, we put patients first in everything we do. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
